What is designed in, what this website does today, and what we have not tested yet. We would rather be exact than sound finished.

Designed in
These are decisions already made in the app design.
- Shape, word and colour. Every verdict has all three: a circle with a tick for “checks out”, a diamond with a mark for “look here”, and a dashed ring for “can’t verify yet”. Colour is never the only signal.
- Readable colour. Verdict text and chips are designed to reach at least 4.5:1 contrast against their backgrounds.
- Comfortable targets. Controls are designed at 44 points or larger.
- Writing without Apple Pencil. Turn on Draw with finger to write with one finger. Two fingers scroll.
- Nothing hidden. “What we read” shows what we read from your handwriting, and marks the symbols we weren’t sure about with a dotted underline, not just a colour.
This website
- Every control is a real button or link, and can be reached and used with a keyboard.
- Focus is always visible.
- When your device asks for reduced motion, the animations stop: floating, tilting, the background drawings, the glow on the footer name, the button jiggle and the highlighter all hold still.
- The tablet and the cards tilt toward a mouse or pen, never in response to touch.
